Higham Lane
Sixth Form

delight for A level results 2021

Higham Lane Sixth Form is delighted to report many outstanding achievements by its students in their A levels and other qualifications this summer with most students meeting the entry requirements for the top universities in the UK or their chosen apprenticeships.

Head of Sixth Form Hanif Ladha said: “We would like to say a huge well done to all of our Year 13 students for their hard work and commitment. We are immensely proud of them and what they have achieved, especially after such a difficult and disrupted year. I would also like to thank our staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure students were effectively supported and are all able to progress onto the next stage of their education, training or employment. We look forward to hearing about their further achievements in the future”.

This year, following the cancellation of exams, grades were awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards. The government is not publishing performance data for any schools or colleges this year due to the varying impact of the pandemic. Given this unique situation, we will not be sharing our school’s 2021 results or highlighting individual student performances in the way we normally would. Our focus at this time will be on supporting our students in their next steps into higher education, training or employment.

Kind regards

Mr Hanif Ladha
