I hope you find the information on this page useful.  I was sorry to cancel our Year 12 Induction day this year. We had so much planned for you including a grand bbq, bouncy castles, a mechanised rodeo bull and live music. Not all is lost. We can enjoy all this, if circumstances allow, next summer to celebrate Year 12 and your first year with us.

 

Higham Lane Sixth Form

Higham Lane Sixth Form will provide you with an outstanding post-16 experience where you can study and develop your wider skills, in order to achieve to your very best on your journey to university, an apprenticeship or employment.

In our Sixth Form we have planned every aspect of our work to ensure that you receive excellent provision. Our Sixth Form facilities will provide you with the perfect physical environment for learning, allowing you to be independent and able to study at a time and pace or place that suits your needs. This includes silent and quiet study spaces, a range of seminar and teaching rooms, together with a dedicated cafe and kitchenette for your own personal use.

Our staff are highly-qualified, experienced and committed to providing you with the highest-possible quality of teaching in every subject area. We will keep a careful check on your progress and provide comprehensive support through our academic tutoring. Partnership between our teachers, students and parents/carers is central to the way we work.

You will engage in a wide range of enrichment activities to develop your leadership skills including working with younger students, supporting the community and taking part in a number of exciting opportunities.
